We all are so busy these days and its so nice to just take some time to all support and reach out for a cause. A certain cause, that will in fact change generations and make the world a better place. Hence "Project Pink" is born!
My background is in Marketing, Sales, and Event Management so this is right down my alley. However, I was diagnosed with Spasmodic Dysphonia last year. Its a neurological disorder that effects the vocal cords like Parkinson's. So , my voice goes in and out and I have no control over it. I have enlisted the help of several well qualified people to help get this event organized and carried out. We will be listing those people very soon in case you need to get a hold of any of them.
When: February 2009
February is the month of LOVE what better way to celebrate ourselves and those around us during this month.
We will have many sponsors and give aways during the event. The event is complimentary.
We will also have educational seminars, fun events to teach trust etc, bouncers for the little kids.
Heather Madder from heathermadder.com will be an educational speaker. She is an author of "Walking on the Ceilings" and travels to teach educational seminars around the West.
Nikki Siri from Seattle, WA will be coming out to teach a "Curl Gala". She is a stylist with over 10 years of experience and the author of "strictlycurls".
She uses all natural products to help with the environment and will educate you as to why this is so important.
We will have other stylist there as well to help create a natural and fun look for all ages.
I will be taking pictures and teaching different techniques on how you can be flattering no matter what size or shape you are.
There are many more events that are in the works, we will be updating as they are confirmed.
We are anticipating over 500 people to attend this event and will be "letting go" of pink balloons to symbolize this new era of realizing the female potential and accepting our bodies. We are each unique and have different shapes, sizes, backgrounds, and ethnicities that we need to accept and celebrate!
Help us and join together in helping future generations!
